loogaushthe3rd11:57am: Sub-Motive show!
Take a look at Saturday April 1st. SUB-MOTIVE, y'all!

Image hosting by Photobucket

It's kind of hard to read, so April 1st says the bands are Triple X, Sumo Nightclub, The Macho Nachos, Goldilocks and the Hypnotoads, Don Rita, Yellow Nights, Hi Def, Garage 83, Random Silence, The Faculty Band, Sub-Motive, and First Flight Out. School of Rock is a studio in Maple Valley that teaches kids to play in a rock band, so I think each band gets a song or two to play, except the last three bands - those are normal set times.

Writing the set list

Playing the show

Back to the hotel room...

Lunch with our biggest fan

I think we're lost on the ferry

Re-enacting a favorite scene from a zombie movie...somehow the lighting was perfect for the shot, and I still haven't figured out how Josiah did that thing with his eyes...

All in a day's work

Yo yo yo! Thanks to y'all for coming out and rockin' out with us! It was an awesome show with Turner Core, Poorsport, Lucky For Nothing, and us.

Here's some pics:

Our friends

Aaron mesmerizing the crowd with beguiling tales of his childhood

Jojo bean

This is actually a love ballad I'm playing

Why Josiah and I make such stupid expressions on our faces will puzzle me always

Rockin' the Suburbs

No, Aaron's hand is not retarded - it's just playing guitar

'Hold on to ya butts!'

Oh snap! Whoever's wearing that must be a total babe magnet!

Don't forget to vote for us in the Ernie Ball Online Battle of the Bands! Winner gets a slot on the Warped Tour!

Plus a new song will be posted on PureVolume this Wednesday, April 13th.

loogaushthe3rd2:23pm: The Vera Project Show March 26th, 2005
Alrighty, so we had a busy weekend this week! We were going to play up at Snoqualmie in the morning for the Celebrity Snow Jam event but it got canceled due to snow and rain conditions. If you watched the news, you saw how people got screwed over up there. Thank goodness that wasn't us up there or we wouldn't have gotten to play at the Vera Project in Seattle last night with Ambitious Career Woman and The Gruff Mummies, who won EMP's SoundOff! Band Competition this year.

We arrived early and had a couple hours to kill, so:
I think a pool que works better

Or maybe a drumstick

They also had a crazy amount of bread so we dove right in

Josiah was really excited about his vegetarian burrito

Apparently my gang sign means 'turtle'

And now we play

Thanks to y'all that came out! Represent!
